  1. Planning is what leads you to finding your topic and producing information through exploration. Some strategies used during planning are listing, managing, recording, reading and free writing which can be done in a journal or on a computer. Another important strategy is to speculate, which helps to produce different interpretations and view your creations from different perspectives. Many of these strategies can be used during free writing and even interviews. During interviews you investigate a specific topic by learning how to prepare, manage, record and evaluate. The most common strategy for learning about a subject is reading, you must select, analyze and evaluate the written words. Evaluation is a key component that leads you to finding new information as well as a working hypothesis which is then refined into a thesis or the outline of your paper.

  4. Planning helps you uncover, explore, and evaluate a topic. Planning helps you locate and produce information in writing in writing. These strategies help you identify familiar information and create new information. To experiment with these strategies is a writer's source book or journal. Freewriting helps you write down as quickly as possible what you can remember. It encourages you to remember to write in phrases and sentences. Don't have to worry about writing perfect. Speculating helps produce different interpretations of a potential subject. When interviewing someone is the most direct way to investigate a subject, but it's not simple, there's more to it. Reading what other people have written about your subject is probably the most common strategy for gathering information for writing. The easiest way to keep track of reading is to write about it in your journal. As i went over because in the beginning. Think of reading as another form of interviewing. You can evaluate each of these types and go over them just to know exactly what is going on.

  6. In the reading, it really shows how much planning, using different strategies, and speculating can help you write an over all better paper. Planning is key because it leads you to finding a topic and giving you more information. There are many strategies you can use. Such as, listing, recording, and free writing. It is easier to do these things in a journal or on a computer. Speculating is important because it gives you different views on what you wrote. All of these can be used while interviewing someone. For example, it helps to identify the topic(planning). And it also helps to evaluate the key information and finding new things. By doing all of these things you will have a good understanding on what is going on.

    1. I wrote in my response that listing is the most important but only because that is what helps me. I read in your entry that speculation, to you, is the most important. I think it all depends on how you plan. A lot of people plan differently and work around there own needs. I enjoyed reading your entry :)

  7. This reading really helped me and put different things in a simpler perspective. It speaks about different planning. For example, listing. It says listing can produce information in writing. Also mentioned is freewriting. Freewriting is a quick way to remember things. There are many more things listed to help organize a journal. Planning is something critical in every piece of writing. It shows that you put thought into it instead of just plopping down a bunch of ideas. It helps the reader understand what you're trying to get across, or what your point is. To me the most important and useful one is listing. Listing is one of the strategies I always use. It gets all the ideas in my head written on paper. Im able to separate it into different collums and write each point I want to cover in that area. It helps to plan which the the foundation of a writing.

  8. There are many ways to plan on writing an essay. Writing in a journal is one of the most effective, things such as lists, free-writing, or speculation. Another effective way is reading and figuring out ideas. Then after you complete your journal or your readings, you must evaluate them.

  9. I'd say freewriting is the most important one because it doesn't involve making perfect lines and it also brings ideas at the top of your mind. It's really simple and the easiest way to start a story.

  10. In this reading they said plannig your writing could be a good thing. Sometime planning is better to do it when you are done writing becuase you can have an idea of what your writing. when you first write you just spill words and phrases, do not write complete sentences, you can do that after you write phrases and are about to start writing your essay. They listed a couple strategies that you can do when you are going to write a essay. its better to start with something you know about and have a few topics in case.

  12. From what I have read about planning and going forth with a well written paper you must plan ahead. Some ways are to know your topics, know your form of writing and to whom you're writing to. You can do this but free writing or journaling some ideas and things you may want to say later in your writing. This will help your writing get across your topic and different perspectives to the reader. To put this all together in your writing and maybe even presenting it to a reporter of some sort to know your topic make sure to analyze and evaluate Your work first. Evaluation is the last step to the planning and process of a well written paper.

  13. There are many different strategies in planning out your writing. Keeping a journal about different ideas you might have is a good way to keep ideas handy for any paper not just the one coming up. Making a list helps you evaluate what kind of topics you could write about. Free writing is about expressing your ideas in a none sentence structure, just writing things down as they come to you. Speculating helps you see your topic in different perspectives, that is good because you learn many different ways of writing. Another way to plan out your paper is interviewing someone, you get a lot more information that way from getting it from the person directly. Lastly reading about a topic helps you in many ways too because you have the information right in front of you. Lots of people find planning hard to do, if you just put some time and effort into it, its not that hard.

    1. You did a great job talking about every topic. After reading your paragraph, a reader would understand the strategies you had talked about.

  14. In this reading, I learned strategies for how to write different journals or special papers. One way to write a journal is to freewrite. Freewriting is writing down everything as quickly as possible, and you do not have to write in perfect sentences. When evaluating your freewrites, you have to make decisions on you subject, audience, and purpose. Speculation is a way of writing that helps you produce different interpretations of a potential subject. When evaluating speculation, you need to reconsider your information. Another way to get information is interviewing. This way is the most direct. When evaluating an interview you should immediately reconstruct the conversation. Lastly, the most important part of writing, is to plan ahead.

  15. I learned from this reading that there is a lot of planning that going into writing. Whether it be freewriting, journaling, or special papers, there is many steps in writing. You can list or interview to get topics, but you have to understand your topic. You can specualte it by understanding different interpretations and perspectives. You also should know your audience to help you plan what and how to write. Evaluate your writing to find new information and to get rid of unwanted information.

  16. When writing journals it mostly about keeping all kinds of ideas you may have for any reason it could be for other writings or to have ideas for anything that comes up to party plans or to have a nice day at home. Free writes are just writing down whatever's on your mind not really caring about grammar and just thinking about anything. Free writes are good because they can lead your imagination to a bigger picture such as writing a book or something big for your next writing project. All of these ways of writing and reading a good ways to help you be a better writer by giving you great ideas you came up with.

  17. Writing is not a linear process, and it can get very difficult when planning. Free writing is a random brainstorm which may give you generalized ideas. You may decide to elaborate on certain small ideas in your free write and your idea will flourish. Decide in what context you want to use certain subjects through experimentation. Your idea will now grow on as you write.
